| Step 2: The second, and final email, will come from Verisign a day or two later and look like this.. From:
outbound-response@networksolutions.com Dear Valued VeriSign(r) Customer: You know the value of being a VeriSign(r) customer. We've put 6
million customers on the Web and are the industry leader in domain name
registration and digital trust services, enabling everyone, everywhere to
engage in online commerce and communications with confidence. ONLINE MANAGEMENT TOOLS IMPORTANT: To complete the transfer process, please "Reply" to this email making sure to COPY/PASTE the line (highlighted in RED in our example above) from within your email to the SUBJECT line of your reply email. As you can tell, Verisign does not make it easy to transfer domains away from them as a Registration company. They try and hide the line that you will have to paste into the subject line in order to confirm the transfer. You'll know when the domain has migrated to a new registration company from the confirmation email from Verisign stating the transfer has been completed. An example will look like the following... Dear Paul Laudenslager: has been approved. Though we're sorry to see you go, we've sent the transfer command to the registry as you've requested. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate in giving us a call and we will be more than happy to assist you in completing this process. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration. virginiahost.com Support Team
